Athlos Leadership Academy prohibits the use of any electronic devices, unless authorized by the school Principal. Students are not allowed to use cell phones, PDAs with cameras, IPods, headsets, radios, CD players, pagers, beepers, laser pointers or any other similar devices during school hours.  
 
Students may not use their phones or technology devices to take pictures or videos. This includes during dismissal, out at the buses, and at school events occurring during school hours. Students may not take pictures of themselves or other students at any time.  
 
In grades 4-8, students are required to turn in their cell phone daily. Staff are responsible for locking up cell phones each morning during arrival. Cell phones will be returned to students during dismissal. Students will be required to keep phones turned off and secured until they leave campus. 
 
If students do not turn in their cell phone or are caught using it, staff will confiscate the phone and notify parents/guardians. Confiscated phones will be locked up and returned on Friday. If a phone is confiscated on a Friday, the phone will be returned the following Monday.
