Welcome musicians, today we will practice “Bell Horses” and compose our own pattern for the song! You will need to print this worksheet:

If you do not have a printer, get a blank sheet of paper and draw 8 squares on it.
Lesson Topics
Bell Horses Review - Find a green sound and a yellow sound to help you play the song!
Use one of my ideas for green and yellow sounds or find your own:
- Clap and snap
-Tap 2 pencils together and tap pencils on desk
-Find something to shake and a book to pat
Compose with Bells and Horses - Fill in the 8 blank boxes on your worksheet. Each box needs a 1-hit BELL or a 2-hit HORSES. Practice clapping your pattern! Remember bells get 1 clap and horses get 2!
Play Bell Horses A and B Parts - We will play Bell Horses with a pattern from one of my in-person students. When we are finished try playing your own pattern!
