Hello Families,

Here is the schedule for the week!

 

Language Arts: We will continue Unit 8, covering the topic of natural disasters (Volcanoes), and focusing on understanding cause and effect text structure and comparing two informative texts. 

 

Math: We will be finishing up Unit 7 and starting Unit 8 this week, which will be the last unit of the year. We will be working further with decimals, as well as working with fraction dimensions of rectangles.

 

Social Studies: We will be learning about the American Southwest and researching the states in that region.

 

Science: We will start the week with a test on the water cycle and then begin working on other science projects.

 

Reminders:

The fourth grade field day is on Tuesday! No swimsuits and please remember to send a water bottle with your kids!

May Madness with be on Tuesday, May 28th

Spring Book Fair will be Wednesday, May 29th
