MCAs are coming up!

Hey,
 
Don't forget that MCAs are coming up. Every guardian was sent an email of the schedule. However, he is when your student is testing
 
-Reading MCA: April 3rd - 4th
-Math MCA: April 17th - 18th
-Science MCA: May 3rd - 4th
 
Just a reminder as well: 

Per state requirements, students are unable to have access to their cell phones or wearable technology at any time during MCA or MTAS testing or during breaks from MCA or MTAS testing. In the event that a student has access to a cell phone or wearable technology during testing, the student’s test is required to be invalidated, even if the student did not use the device. Wearable technology includes but is not limited to smart watches and fitness trackers.

 

On dates when your student is scheduled to take MCA or MTAS assessments, your student will check in their phone and/or device with me on the morning of testing. I will collect the phone/device, put it in a labeled Ziploc bag and keep it in a locked cupboard until the end of testing for the day, at which time I will return the phone/device to your student.

Don't forget yearbooks are due March 31st, 2023. If you want to purchase it but need the webpage and code please email me, or message me on schoology.

here are a few reminders for these next couple of weeks.
(1) Field trip forms are due on Feb. 10th. Forms were sent home with students and parents need to pay for the field trip on parent portal.
 
(2) Conferences are coming up on Feb. 6th. It's in-person from 7:30am - 5pm
