About Me

Welcome! I am happy to be working at Athlos Leadership Academy and I am excited to be teaching third grade again this year! We will be working hard on our foundational reading and math skills, working independently, and how to be helpful community members.
 
When I'm not at school, I enjoy spending time with my family. We have a son named Ben and a dog named Maddie. We love playing at the park and cooking! I graduated from Augustana University in Sioux Falls, SD and have worked in a variety of schools over the years. I love teaching and I can't wait to spend the year with you!

Sept 28 - Oct 2

This week we will be learning how to go back to the story and look for the answers to questions. We will be continuing learning about characters, main idea, and how to re-tell a story. In math, we will be taking a unit test covering place value, addition, subtraction, rounding, and comparing numbers. In science, we will continue learning about light.

-Reading logs are due on Monday
-Sign up for conferences

This week we will be learning:

MCA Testing

We will be taking the MCA's over the next couple of weeks. Please help your child do their best by making sure that they get enough sleep and come to school with a postive attitude. Our goal is for everyone to try their best and show what they can do!
